PIFA Colaba colts hold Chemburites 0-0

The young lads from PIFA Colaba Under-19 put up a splendid fighting display to share honours with Chemburites as they were engaged in a goalless draw in their First Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League – 2012-13, played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Tuesday evening.

Earlier, White Village SC defeated Purple Haze by a fluent 2-0 margin in a Third Division match. Amit Kekde and Vikram Suryavanshi were on target for the winners.

In another match, Central Railway Western Region proved too good as they blanked R.R. Sports 4-0. Striker Kaushik Naik struck a brace, while Atul Patel and Nikhil Makhwa scored one apiece to seal the margin of victory.

Soccer XI ‘B’ worked hard for the solitary 1-0 win against Bandra Terminus. Murthy Konar netted the all-important winning goal.

Results – At St. Xavier’s ground, Parel – Div-I: PIFA Colaba Under-19 0 drew with Chemburites SC 0.
