Paresh Shivalkar to lead Maharashtra Santosh trophy team in the final round

Maharashtra is placed in the group A for the final round of Santosh trophy. In competition will be Uttarakhand, Services, Mizoram and Kerala. Top two teams from both the groups will qualify for semi – finals. Final round is being hosted by IFA in Siliguri.

Ireno Vaz the Chief Coach on the eve of their first match affirmed about the changes and the challenges ahead, ‘We have strengthened the team to go in the final phase.  With ample of time that we got between the 2 rounds, it has also helped us to gel well. We are in a tough group and haven’t seen the opponents play so far. Thus we will be taking it one match at a time.’
