Nishu Singh scores ‘five times’ for Rush Soccer in their 6-1 rout

6th September 2017, Mumbai: The 10th Matchday of WIFA Women’s League – Indian Women’s League (IWL) Preliminary Round saw Kenkre FC facing high-flying Rush Soccer at Cooperage.
Rush Soccer’s Striker Nishu Singh produced the finest performance of the campaign after scoring a whopping five goals to help her side registering a 6-2 win over Kenkre FC.
The match kicked-off with a goal within a couple of minutes. However, it was Kenkre FC who opened the scoring through Mamta’s sublime strike. Although, a couple of minutes later, Nishu Singh scored the equalizer with a thunderous goal of her own. Moments later, the scoreline became 2-1 in favour of Rush.
Nishu once again punished Kenkre’s backline to slot her effort into the empty net when Kenkre’s goalkeeper parried away the initial shot from Nishu. The number 21 was having a field day without a doubt. She completed her hat-trick midway into the first-half with a yet another superb strike.
At the stroke of half-time, Nishu made no mistake as she notched her fourth goal of the game which ensured three points for Rush.  Nishu along with Deepika led Rush’s frontline as they manage to wreak havoc in Kenkre’s  defence.
The second-half saw Deepika Singh making it 5-1 before Nishu once again got on the scoresheet to increase their lead by five goals. In the dying minutes of the match, Mamta bagged her second goal of the game which proved too late too little for the girls in yellow.
