Sir Kole- Hatti- Shanmugam Trophy ( 8th Edition) School Football Tournament was successfully completed. New Horizon School were the Winners of U-14 & U-17 Categories. 32 teams & 500+ kids participated in the tournament which lasted 3 days and was played under rains at M.D. Shershit Vidyalaya Ground.
In the U-17 Category, New Horizon School defeated Jagruti High School in sudden death by 2-1 after equal terms during regulation time (1-1). New Horizon School beat Sadhana High School by 2-1 in regulation time to be crowned Champions of the U-14 Category.
During the prize distribution ceremony, Aditya Devgonda, Govrav Pawar, Ashish Kapase, Somnath Naik, Kupinder Powar (U17 Category) & Anup Banage, Tushar Kamble, Prasad Powar, Sumitre Devgonda, Shubham Attar (U-14 Category) were felicitated as best players of the tournament.
Nikhil Khanna, Omkar Jadhav,Yasin Nadaf & Omkar Ghagari were the referees during the said tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Gadhinglaj Ex Player’s DR. Suresh Sankeswari of GCT Foundations, Prof. Promod Inchnalkar & Sanjay Patil; Vice President – Sambhaji Shivare, Suresh Kolki, Sunil Chougle; Treasurer – Mahadev Patil; Director – Bhairu Salwade; Chandrakant Gurav, Sampat Savant, Sachine Magdum & Vinyak Naik were present. Tournament Co – ordinator Rohit Satvekar welcomed all. Tournament Organizer & Club Secretary Deepak Kuppannvar gave information on the tournament.
