Ishfaq Ahmad has been named as captain of J&K-XI for the much awaited two-football matches against Mohun Bagan Football Club Kolkatta to be played on September 8 and 11.
The first match would be played in Bakshi Stadium on September 8 while as second match would be played at Jammu on September 11.
For the matches, J&K Football Association on Thursday announced 22 member State team to be led by Ishfaq Ahmad.
Except few changes, team is same that clashed with Mohammedan Sporting Club Kolkatta last month.
The team will undergo coaching at Polo Ground from Friday under the guidance of Abdul Majeed Kakroo. Dr Ashiq has been named As Physiotherapist.
