The India U13 Girls Team participated in the AFC U13 Girls Football Tournament in Sri Lanka earlier this year. The team defeated all before them and went on to emerge as Champions.
Valencia Mascarenhas and Karen Paes were the two girls from Maharashtra in the National Team. They were felicitated by AIFF and WIFA President Mr. Praful Patel at WIFA’s Executive Committee Meeting on Saturday 1st September 2012.
