The goals started coming in from the start of the match itself. As Indian International and Bhagyashree Dalvi netted in the third min of the match and scoring the fastest goal of the tournament so far. Bhagyashree slotted in 2 more before half time to complete her hat-trick and scored another one in the second half. Aishwarya Gadekar from Pune FC scored a couple in the first half as well from the right wing while Reetika Sahani converted a penalty in the 38 min to finish the first half 6-0.

 

Bhagyashree’s co striker Tricia Colaco got on to the scoring sheet in the very first minute of the second half and went on to finish her hat-trick. With this empathic victory Maharashtra are placed on top of the three team table of Group E the other team Sikkim is yet to play in the group. Next match of the group is scheduled for 11th between the Sikkim and Uttarakhand and the final match between Maharashtra and Sikkim will be player on 13th  May to decide the group winners who will then qualify to play in the quarter final group stage.
