Pailan take on Mumbai FC

Pailan Arrows take on Mumbai FC tomorrow at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata as both team look to add some momentum to their I-League campaign.

Both the teams are languishing at the bottom half of the standing with Mumbai FC at 11th position with 6 points from seven matches, while Pailan is at 13th position with three points from the seven matches.

Mumbai FC Khalid Jamil said “We are here to win. Pailan Arrows are a young, fit and a confident unit”. The Mumbai FC team, however, look stronger on paper. But the Arrows have improved with every game and Mumbai FC are not under-estimating them.

Pailan Arrows coach Sukhwinder Singh said: “The opponents are strong just as any team in the I-League. They have three foreigners who could make a difference in the match. We will, however, be ready and have planned our strategy accordingly”.

Sukhwinder seemed happy about the fact that none of his players are out because of injury and although a couple of players are suspended due to bookings, he has almost a full team to choose from. He hoped that the team will also have some luck that they did not have in the past few matches and come back with a good result.
